Fees & Charges

New business & Renewal fee
The New Business Telematics Fee for the first year is £150. This is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

All subsequent years you will be charged a £90 Renewal Telematics Fee which will be included within our renewal invitation. This is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

Completed offline - £35
Change of vehicle If you have a professionally installed or battery-located WiseDriving device and you decide to change your vehicle  we will charge a fee of £120 which covers the cost of having a new device installed into your new car.

If you have the telematics app and windscreen-mounted device, you must remove the device before changing your vehicle and re-use it in the replacement vehicle. Where the device is re-used we will charge a reduced fee of £35 for your change of vehicle. We will send you a new cradle to attach the device to the windscreen.

Where the device is not re-used and a new device is required to be sent out we will charge an additional fee of £85 for your change of vehicle.

If you choose to call us to complete the change of vehicle, you will be charged an administration fee of £35.
Cancellation of the policy Your policy is a contract for 12 months. If your insurance is cancelled for any reason you will be charged £75.00 in addition to the charge made by your insurer for the cover you have received.

iGO4's commission is non-refundable in the event policy is cancelled after the first 14 days.

Please note all fees charged are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Removal of telematics box when your policy ends It’s not necessary to have the WiseDriving device removed, as the device is automatically deactivated when the policy expires. However, if you wish to have the professionally fitted WiseDriving device removed, you will be charged £90 to cover administration and the engineer's visit for safe removal of your professionally fitted telematics device when your policy ends.
Missed appointment or failed installation If you miss the appointment to install the WiseDriving device or our installation team attend but are unable to install the WiseDriving black box, you will be charged a missed appointment fee of £45.
Other charges that may apply If your windscreen mounted device is removed for any reason which we have not advised, you will be charged a fee of £35 for a new cradle to reattach the device to your windscreen.

If you are paying your premium by monthly instalments you may be charged £27.50 for any failed monthly instalment collection by your finance provider.

iGO4 will apply a £20 fee if debt is sent to the debt collection agency.
